I am thrilled to introduce you to my 6 Week Slim Down Lifestyle Change Program. I would love to answer some questions about the program, as some of you may not be familiar with what I do.

Think of this 6 Week Program as a transformative workshop. By utilizing your energy tracking device and my guidance on macronutrient and calorie goals, you will gain a deep understanding of your body’s energy requirements and the precise calorie intake needed to achieve your “slimming” goals.

Throughout the program, we will work together to establish a powerful routine and schedule that incorporates all the essential elements of a healthy lifestyle.

By diligently tracking sleep, water intake, meal timing, carbohydrate consumption, nutrient intake, and energy expenditure, we will create effective routines and habits.

In doing so, we will strengthen your willpower, maximize your efforts, and create optimal windows for fat loss and building lean mass, what I call the modern day “impossible.”

It’s all About Blood Sugar

During the program, you will learn the importance of proper carbohydrate timing, the role of insulin and leptin resistance, and how these factors contribute to weight loss resistance—a condition experienced by the majority of the population.

Additionally, we will debunk the misconception that “working out more and eating less” is the solution to weight loss. Instead, we will delve deeper into the impact of mindset, hormones, gut health, and inflammation—the crucial factors we should focus on teaching and learning.

The primary objective of the 6 Week Program is to reverse malnourishment, which affects a staggering 92% of the population. We will assess your current metabolic rate and address any issues related to chronic under eating, dieting, or the physical and emotional toll of the past four years (covid and other world stressors).

Through appropriate nourishment and stress reduction techniques, we will help your body shed the weight it has been carrying due to prolonged stress and inadequate nourishment.

You will be amazed by how quickly our resilient bodies bounce back when provided with the right nourishment and reduced stress and inflammation. While doctors, spas, pills, and procedures may offer temporary relief, it is essential to address the root causes of our problems through a holistic nutrition and lifestyle approach.

Food Accountability

My Lifestyle Change programs are designed to educate you about nutrient composition. How can you determine what you consume on a daily basis if you are unaware of the calorie or nutrient content of the food on your plate?

During the program, we will focus on tracking your food intake while you acquire a lifelong skill: assessing the calories, protein, carbohydrates, fiber, fat, and sugar content of the food you eat. Once you master this skill, you will no longer need to put in excessive effort because you will have gained a valuable tool.

Nutrition science is not adequately taught during our formative years, and yet it is one of the most vital pieces of knowledge we should possess. We all aspire to lead healthy lives, age gracefully, manage stress, and juggle multiple responsibilities inherent in our modern lifestyles.

To achieve these goals, we must understand our energy needs on a seasonal, daily, and high- versus low-energy output basis.

Education Creates Change

One of the most valuable aspects of this program is the emphasis on learning. Everything we do will contribute to healing and nourishing your gut and liver.

You will gain a comprehensive understanding of gut health and learn to develop a personalized fiber blueprint that prevents leaky gut syndrome.

Shockingly, over 90% of the population experiences leaky gut weekly, which leads to unwanted weight gain, inflammation, hormonal imbalances, and low energy levels.

Frequently, I hear individuals expressing concerns about hormone imbalances, thyroid issues, or adrenal fatigue. These conditions affect both men and women, and in this 6 Week Program, I will introduce you to my curriculum, where we explore the organs and hormones responsible for our body, mind, and metabolism.

Being overweight is an inflammatory disease, which means hormonal dysfunction and metabolic fatigue. This program aims to kickstart hormonal rehabilitation and promote fat oxidation, transitioning your body from being a sugar burner and fat accumulator to becoming a fat burner.

Typically, I work one-on-one with clients, and most of them remain with me for durations ranging from 6 months to 5 years. However, I am confident that this program will lay a strong foundation for true lifestyle change: cultivating new behaviors, habits, and consuming the right amount of food at the right times. 

Consistency and accountability

Consistency and accountability are key to achieving optimal results in terms of body composition changes. Within the program’s app, you will have daily logging homework.

This includes tracking your weight, workouts, Apple Watch or Fitbit, progress photos, adhering to meal timing schedules, monitoring your water intake and sleep, and striving to meet your macronutrient and calorie goals through food logging.

This can involve preparing the meal recipes I provide each week, following “clean & simple” eating plans I send with basic meal prep and limited cooking, or using “flexible dieting/IIFYM” to tailor your food choices according to your goals.

The more diligently you log your food intake, the better we can understand your specific needs. Moreover, avoiding inflammatory foods will accelerate your fat loss progress. However, please note that this program is not a cleanse, food elimination plan, or a strict prohibition on alcohol or enjoying life.

Such approaches are ineffective. Our goal is to learn that by providing our bodies with the right nourishment, our cravings for unhealthy foods naturally diminish, and we no longer rely on them for comfort or satisfaction.

Farias Fitness Workouts

The program also includes three FF (Farias Fitness) workouts accessible through the app. These workouts can be completed at home or in the gym, and you will have the option to view video demos of me doing each exercise and read my written descriptions.

If you have a personal trainer, participate in classes, follow a physical therapy program, have a gym buddy, or engage in any other strength-building workouts you are passionate about, feel free to substitute or add them to your schedule.

Tracking Success

While it is possible to participate in the program without an Apple Watch or Fitbit, I highly recommend using one, as we will incorporate your data into your personalized prescription.

You may find yourself drawn to the world of biohacking and choose to invest in one.

Now, what happens after the 6 Week Program? Upon completion of this first 6-week module, you will be invited to join the second module. The goal is that you complete this course with a new set of habits feeling like a new person.
